Job summary

Worcester-based Sanctuary Group is seeking a proactive Developer to join the Technology Department's Business Applications Team. The role involves upgrading and enhancing critical business systems, ensuring stability, and supporting audits and risk assessments.

You will work on integrations, configurations, and third-line support to improve performance and usability. The successful candidate will have experience with enterprise applications, intermediate SQL, APIs, middleware, and service

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise applications and optimizing business systems.
• Intermediate SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
• Understanding of APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.
• Experience with service management platforms (Jira & Helix).
• Experience in managing Windows servers.
• Knowledge of role-based access, authentication protocols, and data protection principles.
• Strong skills in technical writing and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Participate in application-related projects and upgrades.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and implement enhancements.

£46,549 - £48,999 per year

35 hours per week – Monday to Friday

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Developer to join our collaborative and forward-thinking Business Applications Team, which is part of the Technology Department at Sanctuary Group.

This is a great opportunity for you to work with a portfolio of critical business systems that underpin Sanctuary’s operations. You’ll play a key role in enhancing user experience, improving system efficiency and stability, and enabling smarter ways of working through intelligent configuration. You’ll be involved in strategic projects and programmes, lead on application upgrades and enhancements, and provide third-line support to ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of our systems.

The role of Developer will include:

• Role salary is £38,729 with an additional policy allowance of £7,819 per annum (rising to £40,768 with an additional policy allowance of £8,231 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
