Job summary

Techtrade Recruiting is seeking a Despatch / Transport Office Assistant in Antrim to support a busy manufacturing environment. The role combines transport administration with practical duties on the factory floor and deliveries management.

You will organise deliveries, check goods for despatch, maintain records in IT systems, liaise with production to ensure orders are ready, and assist with hands-on despatch tasks, including driving company vehicles when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport/despatch environment.
• Good IT skills including MS Word and MS Excel.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, proactive and comfortable working independently.
• Willingness to assist with hands-on duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Organising and coordinating deliveries.
• General despatch and transport administration.
• Preparing and checking goods for despatch.
• Using IT systems to maintain delivery records and documentation.
• Liaising with production teams to ensure orders are ready on time.
• Assisting with practical/manual duties within the despatch area.
