Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Despatch Operative for a leading UK bakery brand. The role is full-time with fixed night shifts from 6pm to 3am, on a 4 on 4 off pattern, ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately.

You will work with handheld scanners and warehouse systems, perform quality checks, and maintain a safe, clean dispatch area. Training is provided, with PPE and uniform supplied.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is desirable, but training is provided.
• Night shift work is required.
• Full-time role with fixed shifts (4 on, 4 off).

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Loading products onto vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Using handheld scanners and warehouse systems for order accuracy.
• Carrying out quality checks and reporting issues.

Despatch Operative for our client, one of the UK's best-known bakery brands, producing a wide range of bread and bakery products which are distributed to customers and retailers across the UK.

Staffline is recruiting Despatch Operatives in

The rate of pay is

£15.79 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed night shifts,

4 on 4 off, and the hours of work are:

- 6pm to 3am

Your Time at Work

• Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Loading products onto vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Using handheld scanners and warehouse systems to ensure order accuracy.
• Carrying out quality checks and reporting any issues.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Working as part of the despatch team to ensure products are ready for delivery on time.

Please note that this role involves standing and walking for long periods.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will be physically fit and able to do regular lifting, carrying and moving of bakery products and trays. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
