Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for a Stock Controller to join a busy distribution operation based in Crick, Wales. This full-time role follows a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with hours from 6am to 6pm. The position offers on-site support from Staffline and comprehensive training to get you started.

You will inspect stock, reconcile inbound reports, generate stock reports for customers, and resolve stock queries with accuracy and timely communication. Attention to detail and Excel skills are essential.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in stock control.
• Strong communication skills and professional interaction with customers.
• PC literate with experience using MS Excel for reporting.
• Able to solve problems methodically and seek resolutions.
• Pro-active and adaptable with the ability to work on own initiative.
• Conscientious, reliable and able to prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting floors daily and physically checking stock as required.
• Reconciling goods inbound reports and processing stock queries.
• Creating and distributing stock reports to internal and external customers.
• Processing system transactions to correct stock balances and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintaining accurate transactions in external warehouse databases.
• Pursuing stock rejections and returns throughout the network.
• Recording and escalating non-conformances and supporting colleagues.

Stock Controller

for our client which deals with the distribution of breads and cakes based in Crick.

The rate of pay is

£13.96 per hour.

This is a full-time role working 4 on 4 off and the hours of work are:

• 6am to 6pm

Your Time at Work

• Inspecting floors daily and physically checking stock as required
• Reconciling goods inbound report
• Creating and distributing stock reports to both internal and external customers
• Processing stock queries within agreed timeframes, providing customer care
• Investigating discrepancies and processing dispute procedures
• Processing returns and inter depot cross documents
• Pursuing stock rejections and returns throughout the network
• Processing system transactions to correct stock balances
• Maintaining accurate transactions in outside warehouse database
• Investigating outstanding, incoming, outside and missing pallets
• Emptying location checks as required
• Recording and escalating internal and external non-conformances
• Supporting colleagues throughout the network
• Other duties as reasonably required
