Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Logistics Despatch Co-ordinator to join the inbound despatch team in the UK. This 37-hour week runs 07:30–16:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:30–12:30 on Friday, with overtime available on Saturday (time and a half) and Sunday (double time).

You will coordinate material flow through stores, packing, despatch and customs, liaise with freight providers and client teams, consolidate loads, and perform SAP-based shipment processing while supporting out-of-hours despatches as

Qualifications

Experience in logistics despatch or inbound logistics is preferred.
Proficiency with SAP for order picking and shipping.
Strong numerical and analytical abilities; good literacy.
Knowledge of health and safety practices in logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate material flow through logistics stores, packing, despatch and customs processes to despatch/delivery to customers & sister sites.
Liaise with 3rd party freight & customs providers, client logistics teams, inspection and certification personnel.
Consolidate loads to maximise vehicle load fill and minimise despatches.
Process shipments in SAP where possible; use manual shipments when necessary.
Log all shipments in transit and support despatch/Shipping queries.
Support out-of-hours despatches to meet customer needs.
