Job summary

Adecco Portugal is recruiting for a Desktop Support Engineer for a leading global financial institution in London on a 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of permanent conversion. The role covers hands-on desktop support, EUC, endpoint management, and TechBar services from Monday to Friday, based in London.

Key responsibilities include supporting Windows environments, SCCM, Citrix/VDI, imaging and device builds, plus ITSM process involvement and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Desktop Support experience.
• Experience with Windows environments, hardware, software and endpoint devices.
• Experience with SCCM and endpoint management tools.
• Experience with Citrix/VDI environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Desktop Support, EUC and end-user technical assistance.
• Support Windows environments, hardware, software and endpoint devices.
• Work with SCCM and modern endpoint management tools.
• Support Citrix / VDI environments, imaging, device builds and configuration.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, manage escalations and resolve incidents.
• Deliver TechBar support and provide a high standard of customer service.
• Work with ITSM processes and contribute to automation and continuous improvement.
