Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements
- We are looking for a team player with at least 3 years of experience in an IT Support role.
- We need someone who can understand user needs, manage issues through to resolution, and escape where necessary.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to learn quickly are essential.
- A proactive, highly organised approach with the ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to change is required.
- A friendly and personable manner when dealing with colleagues is important.
- A full driving licence is desirable, and willingness to work flexibly in line with our business needs is preferred.
- Experience with desktop support is preferred.
- Applicants should be able to commute to or relocate to Inverness, Highland before starting work.
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line technical support across all IT areas.
- Build, deploy and configure laptops for new and existing employees.
- Upgrade hardware and peripherals as required.
- Procure IT equipment and software licences where required.
- Act as a key point of contact for technical knowledge and expertise.
- Follow and adhere to processes and procedures, while checking and advising where improvements can be made.
- Communicate effectively with other IT team members and provide regular updates.
- Support employees and help ensure systems run smoothly by resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Deal with calls, emails and in-person requests for IT support.
- Escalate issues where necessary and contribute to resolving them efficiently.
