Academics is seeking a Design Technology Teacher for a permanent role in Caterham, Surrey. The position starts October 2026 or January 2027 with a salary of £35,602 - £54,328 per annum.

You will join a thriving secondary school community committed to high-quality DT teaching and inclusive learning experiences. Responsibilities include teaching across Key Stages 3–5, delivering practical and innovative lessons, and contributing to curriculum development within a supportive Trust.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design & Technology.
• Passionate about delivering engaging DT lessons.
• Strong classroom management and reflective practice.

Responsabilités

• Teach Design Technology across Key Stages 3–5.
• Deliver creative, practical, and challenging lessons.
• Use assessment to inform teaching and provide targeted support.
• Contribute to curriculum development and collaboration.
