GAC Education is seeking a Design and Technology teacher for a secondary/SEN school in Liverpool. This long-term role may lead to a permanent position for the right educator.

You will plan and teach D&T at KS3/KS4, run practical workshops, guide students through designing and evaluating, and support GCSE coursework with assessment and feedback. DBS and right-to-work checks apply.

Formación

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Design and Technology in secondary schools.
• Confident with workshop health and safety.
• Early career teachers are welcome to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and teach Design and Technology at KS3 and KS4.
• Run safe, well organised workshops and practical lessons.
• Guide pupils through designing, making and evaluating.
• Support GCSE coursework, assessment and feedback.
• Work with the department to keep standards and routines consistent.

QTS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualificationExperience teaching Design and Technology in secondary schoolsConfident with workshop health and safetyExperience with CAD and CAM software is an advantageEarly career teachers are welcome to apply

Your timetable is likely to be mostly KS3 and KS4, with the chance to teach post 16 where you have the experience.
