Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in the Southport area. You will deliver lessons, contribute to curriculum development and ensure safety and pupil progress.

The role is temporary and long-term, full-time, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with pay paid to scale. Start date is as soon as possible and candidates must have QTS and UK classroom experience.

Design and Technology Teacher

Location: Southport

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term

Working Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Pay: Paid to scale

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Adapt lessons for a wide range of abilities and learning needs

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
• Ability to provide references that cover at least 24 months worked and where possible 2 roles where you have worked with children
