Job summary

Grade A Recruitment Ltd, working with a school in Thetford, is seeking a Design Technology Teacher for a full-time placement from September 2026 to Christmas 2026.

The successful candidate will plan, deliver and assess lessons, maintain high standards of behaviour, and contribute to the department. QTS is required and sponsorship is not available. This is a supportively structured environment with a focus on pupil achievement.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching Design Technology within a school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to plan, deliver and mark lessons effectively.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for Design Technology education and pupil achievement.

Job description

Grade A Recruitment are working with a school in Thetford who are looking to appoint a Design Technology Teacher on a full-time basis from September 2026 until Christmas 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Design Technology Teacher to join a supportive school environment, delivering engaging lessons and inspiring students to develop their creativity, practical skills and technical knowledge. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, marking and assessing pupil progress throughout the placement.
