Job summary

Egis is recruiting a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join the Connect Plus Services (CPS) team on the M25 DBFO project. You will lead technical reviews, manage design projects and external consultants, and ensure timely delivery in line with DMRB and CPS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or related field.
• Proven experience in Mechanical and Electrical projects.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with UK regulations and standards (DMRB/MCHW).
• Professional membership or progression toward qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assurance reviews of design proposals aligning with project goals and standards.
• Lead engineering reviews and challenge contractor proposals.
• Support renewal strategies and liaison with National Highways on technical issues.
• Lead the design and technical delivery of M&E projects from concept to construction.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary schemes within tunnel environments.
• Drive innovation and continual improvement in design and construction.
