Job summary

Egis is seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join the CPS team on the M25 DBFO project in the UK. You will review designs, provide technical direction, and manage design progression from concept to construction.

The role requires experience in M&E projects, strong collaboration, and familiarity with UK standards such as DMRB and MCHW. Based in the UK, you will work on iconic infrastructure and shape renewal strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in Mechanical and Electrical projects.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with the DMRB, MCHW and British and European regulations and standards
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
• Passion for design and a desire to contribute to a creative team.
• Be a member of a professional body.
• Be professionally qualified or working towards professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assurance and reviews of design proposals ensuring they align with project goals, the DMRB and relevant standards.
• Lead engineering reviews to drive innovative solutions that can be safely installed and are best for the asset need.
• Lead the design and technical delivery of M&E projects from concept through to construction.
• Coordinate the design and sequencing of multi-disciplinary schemes within the tunnel environment to ensure integrated solutions.
• Lead innovation and continual improvement in the delivery of schemes and techniques used in design and construction.
