Job summary

RSE is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team at our Warrington office. You will drive technical direction across multiple projects in the water sector and partner with Delivery teams to enhance client service.

The role requires senior engineering experience, strong project management, and proven leadership across design and construction phases. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and hybrid working where applicable.

Qualifications

• Senior engineering experience across design and delivery
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams
• Strong capability in project management from definition to commissioning
• Knowledge of design estimation and cost planning
• Ability to elicit cooperation from diverse stakeholders
• Experience in water/wastewater projects is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for development, design and systems integration across client engagements from definition to implementation.
• Recognise design deficiencies and implement effective solutions.
• Manage multiple technical teams within budget and schedules.
• Encourage leadership development and clarify roles and responsibilities.
• Suggest alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements.
• Participate in performance evaluations and career development programs.
• Deliver high-quality service to clients consistently
