The role emphasizes technical sign-off, DFMA/DFMECA integration, and mentoring engineers in a manufacturing environment. Salary is dependent on experience.

• Experience leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Ability to deliver design work on time with high quality.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Proven track record in product development and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Engineering Team within the Business Group.
• Ensure timely delivery of all design engineering work allocated to your team.
• Maintain high-quality engineering outputs and processes.
• Support the Business Group in winning new work opportunities.
• Develop and deploy DFMA processes for released products.
• Collaborate on Product Road Maps with Engineering Leads.
• Authority for technical sign-off on SOPs.
• Embed DFMECA within the business for best practices.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through timely delivery of work.
• Interface with other functions as required.
• Estimate schedules and resources for engineering data.
• Organise delivery of engineering documentation for projects.
• Carry out other duties as requested.
