Job summary

Outsource UK is seeking a Design Engineer for a 12-month contract, fully site based near Desford. You will design, test and validate ground engaging equipment such as buckets and forks, supporting NPI programs and delivering reliable solutions.

The role requires 2–4 years of design experience and proficiency in Creo or Pro-E or an equivalent CAD system, with a background in designing structural fabrications. This position is client-focused and onsite.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years previous design experience.
• 2–4 years Creo, Pro-E or equivalent CAD system experience.
• 2–4 years' experience of designing structural fabrications and components.

Responsibilities

• Supporting team development of ground engaging equipment (buckets, forks and other material handling devices).
• Support NPI programs to introduce a new solution to the marketplace.
• Design, fit-up, test and tune new solutions.
• Develop and execute a validation plan to introduce a product that achieves reliability targets.
