Main Duties of the Deputy Ward Manager:
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate for a Deputy Ward Manager who will be based in the chemotherapy treatment unit, CCCL. This position is for a Band 6 at 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with the possibility of Saturday working.
The individual should have extensive oncology experience and have completed the SACT UKONs Passport. Be able to demonstrate good leadership skills. You would also be required to deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager and complete managerial duties. We are looking to recruit highly motivated individuals with excellent organization, communication skills, and the ability to lead and drive change. The post holder will be supporting staff and patients within an outpatient environment and play a major role in supporting the ward manager in future nursing developments.
