Job Opportunity: Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager at Rathbone Rehabilitation Unit

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Rathbone Rehabilitation Unit as a Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager. This role supports the Clinical Team Manager and the Clinical Leadership Team in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective care.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Assist in managing the ward, providing clinical and managerial support to team members.
2. Demonstrate resilience, problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
3. Lead with a coaching leadership style, focusing on quality improvement.
4. Work collaboratively with service users and their carers to ensure person-centered care planning.
5. Operate as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team, balancing managerial and clinical activities.
6. Ensure continuity of care for service users through their journey in the acute service.

• This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check with the adults barred list.
• The post holder will share in the continuing professional and managerial responsibilities of the ward.
