Job summary

B&M Retail is seeking a Deputy Store Manager for Bristol Imperial Retail Park to lead daily store operations, drive performance, and coach a high-performing team. You’ll support the Store Manager, step in during absences, and ensure outstanding customer experience.

The role requires a hands-on leader who can work across days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays as needed, with a focus on delivering store standards and sales growth.

• Experience managing a fast-paced retail or high turnover environment.
• A strong team player with the confidence to step up and lead.
• A passion for coaching and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in driving sales, performance and store standards.
• Take ownership of the shop floor, leading by example every day.
• Step up to run the store in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Lead, coach and motivate your team to deliver their best.
• Drive KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance.
