Job summary

ProCook is seeking a Deputy Manager for our Eastbourne Store. You will work with the Store Manager to lead a busy retail team, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive sales while maintaining brand standards.

This full-time role (32 hours/week) offers hands-on leadership, coaching, and opportunities to develop colleagues. Training includes two days at our Store Support Centre in Gloucester and four weeks at training stores.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory, team leader or deputy management role.
• Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness and confidence using sales and performance data.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences to build loyalty and drive sales.
• Lead from the shop floor, set the pace, and create a positive atmosphere for customers and colleagues.
• Drive commercial performance through KPI management and sales focus.
• Ensure high standards across merchandising, stock management, compliance, and store presentation.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and ongoing development of colleagues.
