Job summary

ProCook is hiring a Deputy Store Manager for our Guildford store. In this key leadership role you will support the Store Manager, coach the team on the shop floor, and help deliver exceptional customer experience while driving strong commercial results.

You’ll lead on sales, stock, merchandising and store standards, work with the Regional Manager to implement strategy, and step in during the Store Manager’s absence. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a rotating weekend pattern.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or deputy management role (essential).
• Experience in retail or hospitality is mandatory.
• Strong leadership and people-support skills.
• Commercial awareness with confidence using sales data.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and inspiring the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Drive sales and performance through strong commercial awareness and KPI focus.
• Take ownership of daily floor leadership and operational excellence.
• Oversee stock, merchandising, compliance, and store standards.
• Support team development, engagement, and wellbeing through coaching and 1-to-1s.
• Use performance data to help improve results and decision-making.
• Step up to lead the store in the Store Manager’s absence.
