ProCook Ltd. in Birmingham (Bullring) is seeking a Deputy Store Manager to support the Store Manager in building a high-performing team and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will lead on the shop floor, coach the team daily, and step in during the Store Manager’s absence to ensure smooth operations across sales, stock, service, and standards. The role requires 2+ years in a supervisory or deputy management position in retail or hospitality, with strong leadership and data-driven

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or deputy management role (essential)
• Experience in retail or hospitality is mandatory
• Strong leadership and people support skills
• Commercial awareness and confidence using sales data
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong operational understanding and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and inspiring the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Drive sales and performance through strong commercial awareness and KPI focus
• Take ownership of daily floor leadership and operational excellence
• Oversee stock, merchandising, compliance, and store standards
• Support team development, engagement, and wellbeing through coaching and 1-to-1s
• Use performance data to help improve results and decision-making
• Step up to lead the store in the Store Manager’s absence
