Job summary

Aldi is seeking a Deputy Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations and deliver outstanding customer service at the Pendlebury store. You will work closely with the Store Manager to meet KPIs, manage stock and cash handling, and uphold health and safety standards.

The role offers a flexible 25–35 hour contract, comprehensive training, and benefits including 28 days annual leave and discounted leisure offers.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
• Skilled in time management and cost control.
• Motivated to achieve and exceed targets consistently.
• Strong customer service and compliance skills.
• Previous Store Management experience is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Running the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
• Deliver excellent customer service that goes beyond expectations
• Support the Store Manager to boost employee engagement and meet store KPIs
• Monitor product quality and manage stock rotation consistently
• Oversee till cashing up and safe deposits
• Ensure Health & Safety and due diligence standards are maintained
