Job summary

Aldi Recruitment is seeking a Deputy Store Manager for an Aldi store in Ospringe, United Kingdom. You will drive sales, deliver excellent customer service, and support the Store Manager in training colleagues, checking displays, and meeting targets.

Role offers real responsibility with a clear path toward store management. A premium of £4 per hour when running the store, plus flexible 25–35 hour contracts and generous annual leave are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
• Strong time management and cost control.
• Motivated to achieve and exceed targets consistently.
• Strong customer service and compliance skills.
• Store management experience is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Run the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
• Deliver excellent customer service that goes beyond expectations.
• Support the Store Manager to boost employee engagement and meet store KPIs.
• Monitor product quality and manage stock rotation consistently.
• Oversee till cashing up and safe deposits.
• Ensure Health & Safety and due diligence standards are maintained.
