Making your impact

• Support the shift manager in managing the shift team and providing cover for manager absence.
• Begin your management journey.
• Maintain, repair, and support the equipment detailed within the agreed Dematic scope of contract on the Customer's site.
• Ensure delivery to both Dematic and the Customer’s expectations with the aim of achieving KPI targets at all times.
• Undertake AMHE equipment servicing in accordance with the quality standards and time schedules as set out in the equipment manuals.
• Undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations and industry standard practices.
• Diagnose Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults and perform subsequent repairs.
• Prioritise system faults.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
• Maintain quality of output at all times.
• Accurately record all work undertaken.
• Participate in continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities.
• Maintain product flow at all times.
• Keep on-site spares at optimum levels.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain customer relations.
• Adhere to the Quality processes and procedures set out by the company.

Contributing to the team

• ONC in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
• IOSH working safely (desirable).
• Experience in managing a team (desirable).
• Foundation qualifications in people management (desirable).
• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship.
• Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic manuals & drawings.
• Basic control systems and problem-solving techniques.
• Basic understanding of PLC equipment.
• Experience working at height and willingness.
• Experience with conveyor systems.
• Good PC literacy.
• Knowledge of PPM schedules.
• Understanding of FEM and BS standards in automated warehouse industry.
• Continuous improvement mentality.
