Job summary

Leaders In Care is supporting a 30-bedded supported living service in Southall, London, in their search for a Deputy Manager with a competitive salary of £38,000–£45,000 per annum. The role focuses on leading a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support to adults with complex needs.

You will assist the Registered Manager, oversee staff, ensure CQC compliance, and develop care plans while building strong partnerships with families and professionals.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a supported living setting.
• Proven track record in managing teams of care staff.
• Strong knowledge of person-centred care approaches.
• Solid understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding.
• Experience with care planning, risk assessments and reviews.
• Willingness to work towards/hold Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Manager with day-to-day running of the 30-bed service.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of support workers and senior staff.
• Ensure consistently high standards of person-centred care and support.
• Assist with staff rosters, recruitment, supervision and training.
• Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies.
• Support care planning, risk assessments and reviews for individuals.
• Monitor service quality, performance and delivery; identify improvements.
• Build relationships with families, healthcare professionals and commissioners.
• Step in to manage the service in the Registered Manager's absence.
