Purpose of Role:To support the SENDCO in leading inclusive, high-quality SEND provision across the school developing curriculum, managing EHCP processes, leading teaching interventions, and supporting staff, students, and families.

Key Responsibilities: Inclusion & Student Support- Champion high expectations and outcomes for students with SEND
Curriculum & Teaching- Work with curriculum leaders to ensure quality of inclusive teaching at KS3/4.
- Identify and promote effective SEND teaching strategies and monitor differentiation
Parents & Partnerships- Liaise with external agencies, feeder schools, and parents.
- Work closely with families to support behavior and learning plans.
Leadership & Management- Assist in building and maintaining a skilled, cohesive SEND team.
- Support strategic leadership in SEND provision, curriculum design, and staff training.
Person Specification: Essential:- Possess a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education), demonstrating your commitment to excellence in the field of education.
- Strong communication, time management, and team leadership skills.
