Job summary

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an HR professional to support the People Business Partner in delivering key HR services. You will analyse complex HR issues, advise managers, and promote fair, best-practice people practices.

You will deputise for the People Business Partner, lead project work, line manage a People Adviser, and travel between sites within the University Hospitals Tees group. Based at North Tees University Hospital in Stockton.

Qualifications

• The post holder will analyse complex HR issues and make decisions using influencing and negotiation skills.
• Provide day-to-day HR generalist support, guidance, and advice to staff and managers across UHT.

Responsibilities

• Assist the People Business Partner in delivering key result areas with a comprehensive operational/advisory service across the Trust.
• Ensure policies and practices are fairly applied and aligned with best practice.
• Deputise for the People Business Partner and lead identified projects and initiatives.
• Line manage and support the People Adviser within the team.
• Travel between sites within the broader University Hospitals Tees group.
• Provide advice on Workforce policy, employment law, terms and conditions, and interpretation/applications.
