Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Deputy People Partner (Band 7) on a part-time basis (22.5 hours per week) to join the People Services team. You will provide expert HR advice across clinical and corporate services, support the People Strategy and contribute to staff experience.

The role involves managing complex employee relations, leading organisational change, using workforce data to inform decisions, coaching managers, and deputising for the People Partner.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification or knowledge and experience to degree level equivalent.
• CIPD advanced Level 7 diploma in HRM or equivalent experience.
• Positive and flexible approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex employee relations cases with confidence and professionalism.
• Support organisational change, restructures and service redesign.
• Use workforce data to identify trends and improve decision-making.
• Coach and influence managers to build strong people management capability.
• Contribute to initiatives that enhance staff experience, engagement and wellbeing.
