Portland Charity is seeking a Deputy Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Manager to lead and develop PBS provision across our campus. You will work with the PBS Manager and Coordinators to provide operational leadership and specialist support for person-centred behaviour support.

The role involves coordinating referrals and risk management, managing a small team of PBS Coordinators, delivering PBS training, audits and quality improvement, and acting as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Competenze

• Relevant qualification in Positive Behaviour Support, Psychology, Education, Health & Social Care or a related discipline.
• English language and maths Level 2 or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Support the PBS Manager in leading and developing PBS provision across Portland College.
• Coordinate referrals, workload allocation, behavioural concerns and incident management.
• Manage a caseload of learners with complex needs.
• Provide professional guidance on behaviour support, risk management and restrictive interventions.
• Deputise for the PBS Manager and provide operational leadership when required.
• Deliver PBS training, coaching, supervision and staff debriefing.
• Lead audits, service reviews, data analysis and quality improvement activities.
• Support staff wellbeing and professional development.
• Work with learners, families, education and health partners.
• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Directly manage and develop PBS Coordinators.
