Job summary

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing in Liverpool is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Lead with experience in PBS, autism, learning disabilities and mental health. You will travel across the North West to support service users and coach teams.

You will deliver the PBS Leaders programme, work with families and professionals, and help develop high-quality placement plans while ensuring consistent PBS practice across branches. This is a full-time role with ongoing professional mentorship.

Qualifications

• Experience in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
• Knowledge of Autism, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health
• Ability to coach and mentor teams around individuals

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel around the North West providing support to Service Users
• Travel to other branches and stay overnight when necessary
• Coach and mentor teams to implement PBS in line with policy
• Deliver PBS Leaders programme and support managers to develop as leaders
• Work with families and professionals to ensure a joined-up approach
• Develop and review high-quality placement plans and act as Plan Coordinator for complex cases
• Identify training needs including least-restrictive interventions and authorise restrictions where appropriate
• Provide written/verbal progress reports for individuals and overall outcomes
• Help people share stories of success and illustrate best PBS practices
