Octave Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager in the Oxford area to support the Nursery Manager with daily leadership and development of the nursery team.

The role requires leadership experience in an early years setting and a solid grounding in EYFS and safeguarding. You will collaborate with staff and parents to provide high-quality care and education, while maintaining a safe and stimulating environment.

• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join a thriving early years setting in the Oxford area.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated childcare professional with strong leadership skills who is committed to delivering high-quality care and education. You will support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the setting, help lead and develop the nursery team, and ensure children receive the best possible start in life.

• Location: Oxford area
• Salary: Around £34,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience
• Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Nursery Manager with the effective day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Lead, motivate and support staff to deliver high standards of care and education.
• Ensure the provision meets EYFS requirements, safeguarding standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children.
• Support staff development, performance and continuous improvement.

About You:
