Job summary

Empowering Learning in Leeds is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to support daily nursery operations and help lead a dedicated team. You will oversee safeguarding, education standards and relationships with children and families.

Reporting to the Nursery Manager, you will coach practitioners, contribute to the early years curriculum and step into the manager's role when required, ensuring outstanding care and development for every child.

Qualifications

• Experienced within an early years or nursery setting.
• A confident and inspiring team leader.
• Knowledgeable about safeguarding and the EYFS.
• Organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure.
• Warm, approachable and committed to building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Salary: £29,000 to £37,000
Hours: Full time perm

Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the nursery, supporting the team and ensuring we continue to provide outstanding care and learning experiences for every child.

About the role
