Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and engaging Deputy Nursery Manager to join an enthusiastic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a key leadership role with the potential to progress to Nursery Manager in the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of care and education for all children.
  • Inspire, lead, and motivate the team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of a creative and age-appropriate curriculum that meets the needs and interests of the children.
  • Ensure the nursery meets all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and parents.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with parents and caregivers, ensuring open communication and involvement in their child\'s development.
  • Support the continuous professional development of the nursery staff through mentoring, training, and performance reviews.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursery setting, with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Education: Minimum Level 3 or equivalent Early Years Qualification.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
