Zusammenfassung

FitzRoy in Birmingham is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead care services supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism. You will work alongside the Service Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure high standards of person-centred care.

You will manage and develop the Support Worker team, promote independence and inclusion, and ensure regulatory compliance. A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care and leadership experience are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Experience within a health and social care setting.
• Supervising or leading staff teams.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and person-centred support.

Aufgaben

• Support the Service Manager with the operational leadership of the service.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Support Workers.
• Ensure high standards of person-centred support and positive outcomes for the people we support.
• Promote independence, choice, dignity and inclusion.
• Assist with recruitment, induction, supervision and performance management of staff.
• Ensure safeguarding, medication management, health and safety and care practices are maintained to a high standard.
• Monitor service quality, audits, action plans and compliance requirements.
• Support rota management and staffing arrangements.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with families, professionals and external agencies.
• Participate in the management on-call rota as required.
