Empathix is recruiting a Deputy Manager to support our Registered Manager within a 3-bedded therapeutic EBD Children's Home in Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience managing or supervising staff in a children's residential setting.
• Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (Level 4+ desirable).
• Full UK driving licence (essential due to on-call requirements).

Responsibilities

• Co-manage home budgets and resources efficiently.
• Oversee staff development, supervision, and appraisals.
• Support and guide the care team in delivering therapeutic parenting approaches.
• Maintain placement plans, risk assessments, and care records.
• Promote wellbeing, growth, and independence of young people in placement.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies.
