Delphi Care Solutions is recruiting for a Registered Children's Home Manager based in Birmingham. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure trauma-informed, high-quality care, and drive Ofsted readiness in a safe, nurturing environment.

This role offers strong leadership autonomy, ongoing professional development, and a supportive senior network to help you deliver outstanding outcomes for children and young people every day.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience within children's residential care.
• Experience managing or supervising staff.
• Strong understanding of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Good knowledge of safeguarding legislation and SCCIF.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to achieve.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, ensuring children receive exceptional care in a safe and stable environment.

About You

Essential

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to achieve

• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• Previous Registered Manager experience
• Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspection history
• Experience supporting children who have experienced trauma
• Knowledge of therapeutic care models, DDP and PACE
• Experience managing safeguarding investigations
• Multi-agency working experience
