Job summary

Sanctuary Care’s Juniper House Residential Care Home in Worcester seeks a Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager and lead a caring team. The role focuses on delivering personalised care, building strong relationships with residents and families, and contributing to a positive home culture.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, maintain high care standards, and support staff development in a busy care environment with a focus on safety and compassion.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading a residential care team in a nursing/aged care setting.
  • Strong people management and mentorship skills.
  • Excellent communication with residents families and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager with day-to-day running of the home.
  • Lead and supervise colleagues to deliver personalised, high-quality care.
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, families and staff.
  • Encourage social and leisure activities to enrich daily life.

  • Demonstrate clinical nursing competence in a care setting.
