Job summary

Sanctuary Care is seeking a Deputy Manager for Tyneholm Stables Care Home, Tyneholm Estate, Pencaitland, East Lothian. You will support the Home Manager, lead colleagues to deliver personalised, high-quality care, and build trusted relationships with residents and families in a welcoming, supportive environment.

The role offers a competitive salary of £52,520 per annum, 40 hours per week, and an Investors in People Gold accredited, not-for-profit organisation culture with extensive training,

Qualifications

• Recent clinical experience in a nursing setting.
• NMC PIN valid and up-to-date.
• Full driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager with day-to-day running.
• Lead and guide colleagues to deliver personalised care.
• Build trusted relationships with residents and families.
• Coordinate social and leisure activities at the home.

Your role

• Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
• Lead and guide colleagues to deliver personalized, high-quality care
• Build trusted relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Take an active role in social and leisure activities that enrich daily life
• Help shape a kind, positive and supportive culture across the home
• Clinical experience in a nursing setting
• Valid NMC PIN
• Supportive leadership style that brings out the best in others
• Warm, approachable and able to build strong relationships
• Confidence working as part of a team in a busy care environment
• Full driving licence, with access to a vehicle desirable
