Job summary

Sanctuary Care in Newquay is seeking a Deputy Manager at Penberthy House Residential Care Home to lead the team and oversee daily operations.

You will work 40 hours per week, manage care delivery, support residents and families, and drive a compassionate, person-centred culture across the home. A nursing background and leadership experience are beneficial, with the role offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Leadership and management experience in a care setting.
  • Clinical nursing experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to lead and develop teams in a residential care home.

  • Support the Home Manager with day-to-day running of the home
  • Lead and guide colleagues to deliver personalized, high-quality care
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, families and colleagues
  • Take an active role in social and leisure activities that enrich daily life
