Job summary

Roseberry Care Centres is seeking a Deputy Manager for Chichester Court in South Shields to oversee day-to-day operations and lead care teams across shifts. This 40-hour week role supports a 25-home network with a focus on person-centred, high-quality care.

Ideally, an RN with NMC PIN and leadership exposure, plus Level 5/Level 3 qualifications, will thrive in our supportive, development-focused environment with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified RN with full NMC PIN (preferred but not essential).
• Some leadership experience or willingness to step into a senior role.
• Caring, confident communicator with strong team spirit.
• Passion for delivering person-centred, high-quality care.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care desirable.
• Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with the overall management of the home.
• Leading and motivating care teams to deliver outstanding care.
• Ensuring care plans are up-to-date and tailored to individual needs.
• Handling staffing, rotas, and mentoring team members.

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week (8 Supernumerary and 32 supporting the floor)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting with the overall management of the home
• Leading and motivating care teams to deliver outstanding care
• Ensuring care plans are up-to-date and tailored to individual needs

What We're Looking For:

• A qualified Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN (prefered but not essential)
• Some leadership experience (or the desire to step into a senior role)

• Passion for delivering person-centred, high-quality care
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care desirable
