Deputy Home Manager

£55,000 per annum

At Vivant Care, our homes are designed to inspire – and so are our roles. As Deputy Manager, you’ll support the Home Commissioning Manager in leading the first of our vibrant, lifestyle-led settings, Bayards Court.

You’ll play a key role in everything from care planning and quality assurance, to staff development and recruitment. This means ensuring every resident receives truly personalised care, and every member of your team feels confident, valued, and empowered to thrive.

At times, you will also step in as Acting Home Manager – making this an ideal opportunity if you’re looking to build on your leadership experience and take the next step in your career.

What you’ll be doing
  • Championing inclusive, person-centred care
  • Building strong relationships with external stakeholders
  • Helping oversee budgets to ensure financial sustainability
  • Promoting positive relationships and an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and individual needs are understood and met
  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition and Marketing to recruit extraordinary talent
  • Managing staff development and performance to maintain a collaborative and skilled workforce
  • Maintaining effective management of the home in the manager’s absence
What we’re looking for
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong track record of leading by example, fostering a supportive and inclusive team culture
  • Experience in managing staff training and development
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to the sector, ensuring services remain compliant and reflect the best practices
