Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Deputy Manager for our Inverurie store to lead the team in the Store Manager’s absence and ensure outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will drive sales, oversee daily operations, and coach colleagues to uphold health and safety and retail standards. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential, with a collaborative, inclusive mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of managerial experience in retail.
• Proven coaching and mentoring skills.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety and store standards.
• Ability to meet sales targets and deliver customer metrics.

• Commercial acumen and awareness of industry trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn our systems.
