Halfords is seeking a Deputy Manager to support the Store Manager and ensure smooth operation in their absence. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will lead by example, drive sales, and ensure health and safety standards are met while coaching staff and maintaining high service levels. Opportunities for career progression exist within Halfords as the business grows in motoring services and mobility.

Qualifications

• A year of managerial experience in a retail sales environment.
• Proven track record in coaching and managing colleagues.
• Strong understanding of compliance and operational standards.
• Ability to meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer metrics.
• Commercial acumen and awareness of industry trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn our systems.
