Job summary

St George's Nursery in Hucknall, Nottingham, is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead the team alongside the Nursery Manager. You will maintain high standards of care, learning and safeguarding and help drive day-to-day operations across the setting.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher, plus leadership experience in an Early Years environment, a strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Location: Hucknall, Nottingham
Contract:Permanent, Full-time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary:Up to £36,000 per annum

About The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Room Leader, Third-in-Charge, Senior Practitioner or Deputy Manager looking to take the next step in their leadership career.

Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you'll help lead the team, maintain high standards and support the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery, with opportunities to develop towards a Nursery Manager role in the future.

As Deputy Manager, you will:

Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
Lead, motivate and develop the team
Maintain high standards of care, learning and safeguarding
Ensure EYFS, Ofsted and nursery requirements are met
Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager's absence

What We're Looking For:
