Recently revamped, our lovely pub in the heart of Claygate, Surrey, has been blessed with a rather lovely ‘glow-up’.

Think polished wood, heritage colours, eclectic artwork, and lovely touches throughout.

Comfortable armchairs and sociable booths (perfect for Sunday roast-ing alongside your family) and plenty of cosy and casual spots to pull up a chair. An impossibly generous selection of wines, beers, and spirits – plus properly good pub food (with a sprinkle of Head Chef Ian’s culinary magic) are the icing on the cake.

Our 17 boutique-y bedrooms are great for work-y stays, weekends away, or for getting away for a proper holiday with your family (not forgetting the family dog).

What we look for in a Deputy Manager:

We are looking for a motivated & experienced Deputy Manager to join and lead our team in our stylish, food-focused pub. As the successful Deputy Manager you will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro-active approach to team management. You will be enthusiastic & driven to continue the success of our pub and play a pivotal part in training our team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers. You will also be someone who is committed to their career in hospitality, and we can offer ongoing development to support you as you grow and succeed with us.
