Job summary

Home Bargains is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead on the shop floor, support your team, and ensure the store runs smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

You will motivate colleagues, resolve customer queries, and help develop the next generation of Home Bargains leaders while delivering excellent service and sales results.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising small to medium-sized teams in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
• A proven ability to lead teams to achieve high weekly sales targets.
• Confidence in supporting recruitment, training, and day-to-day team development.
• A strong understanding of store priorities, standards, and customer service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, lift the team: as a hands-on leader, you'll set the tone on the shop floor, motivating your team, jumping in where needed, and making sure everyone feels supported.
• Put people first, every time: coach your team to deliver great service, guide them through busy days, and maintain high standards.
