Job summary

SeeMeHired is seeking a Deputy Locality Manager to lead day-to-day operations of supported living services. You will ensure high-quality, person-centred care, supervise staff, and act as a key contact in the Locality Manager's absence.

You will develop care plans, coordinate with health professionals, and uphold CQC standards while maintaining accurate records and safeguarding compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior or deputy role with adults with learning disabilities.
• Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards with practical application.
• Flexible to meet service needs, including an on‑call rota.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job description

As a Deputy Locality Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day management of the services, ensuring that the individuals we support receive a personalised service tailored to their changing needs. You will be instrumental in maintaining quality and compliance across the services, supervising and supporting staff, and acting as the point of contact in the absence of the Locality Manager.

• Qualifications:
• + NVQ Level 4 or above, OR + QCF Level 5 in Management (or willingness to work towards it).
• Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and IT skills with the ability to prioritise, plan, and organise effectively.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, with practical application experience.
• Flexibility: Fully flexible to meet the needs of the services you oversee, including participation in an on‑call rota., Previous experience in a senior or deputy role working with adults with learning disabilities.
