Job summary

Magnum Talent Ltd is seeking a Deputy Manager to work closely with the Registered Manager in planning, organising and managing care plans. You will lead a team of carers, coordinators and administrators, ensuring the highest standards of physical, social and emotional care are delivered in line with guidance.

Job description

Our award winning care client provide person centred domiciliary, supported living and complex children s care with a variety of different needs and requirements.

The Deputy Manager will assist and work closely alongside the Registered Manager in the planning, organising and management of our care plans. To take lead responsibility for key areas as designated by the Registered Manager. You will be required to foster good morale and team spirit amongst the staff team. Ensure the highest standards of physical, social and emotional care is offered, exceeding any guidance and standards set.

Deputy Manager Responsibilities:

• Assist the registered manager with the day to day running of a smooth healthcare operation.
• Lead, inspire, and develop a team of carers, coordinators, and administrators.
• Assist the registered manager with CQC regulations and uphold exceptional standards of care.
• Assist the registered manager with overseing day-to-day operations across Domiciliary and Supported Living services.
• Work with the recruitment team to attract, train, and retain excellent staff.
• Conduct care planning and risk assessments, ensuring safety and quality in all services.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders.
• Drive service improvements, growth, and client satisfaction.

Deputy Manager Background and Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 and above.
• Train the trainer qualification or similar would be advantageous.
• Previous experience as a Deputy Manager within healthcare.
• Strong people leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
• A proactive, caring, and solution-focused approach to challenges.
• An excellent communicator.
