Job summary

Midway Care Group seeks a Deputy Locality Manager to lead its Supported Living Service in Wolverhampton. You will oversee operations, ensure person-centred care, and supervise caregivers while coordinating with healthcare professionals to meet medical needs.

You will maintain records, respond to concerns, and ensure compliance with policies and CQC guidelines. Flexibility for on-call duties is required.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our continually expanding organisation as a Deputy Locality Manager, overseeing our Supported Living Service within the Wolverhampton area.

As a Deputy Locality Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day management of the services, ensuring that the individuals we support receive a personalised service tailored to their changing needs. You will be instrumental in maintaining quality and compliance across the services, supervising and supporting staff, and acting as the point of contact in the absence of the Locality Manager.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the operations of supported living services.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Previous experience in a senior or deputy role working with adults with learning disabilities.
• Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 4 or above, OR

  • QCF Level 5 in Management (or willingness to work towards it).
• Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and IT skills with the ability to prioritise, plan, and organise effectively.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, with practical application experience.
• Flexibility: Fully flexible to meet the needs of the services you oversee, including participation in an on-call rota.
